As Dr. Arey, Dr. Graff and Dr. Beheshti are frequently in session with patients, your call will likely be answered by Kristine Perry, the office manager at South Coast Psychiatry. Kristine is available to answer any administrative questions or scheduling issues, to help with prescription refill requests, and to pass messages along to the doctors throughout the day. If Kristine is on the other line or helping a patient in the office, please leave a message with your contact information and best times for a returned call. Calls are usually returned within several hours, and always within one business day.
At South Coast Psychiatry, our doctors are not available for emergency consultations. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency or require urgent care, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room.
For established patients, please page your doctor for any urgent concerns (emergency numbers for Dr. Arey, Dr. Graff and Dr. Beheshti are available on voicemail). All doctors are available to their established patients during evenings, weekends and holidays by pager and/or cell phone for urgent issues. There will always be a covering physician 24/7 if one of the doctors is out of town or away from the office.
