South Coast Psychiatry was founded with the intention of bringing together the best and the brightest psychiatrists in Orange County to elevate the standard of psychiatric care in the community. By bringing together UCLA, UCI and Harvard trained psychiatrists, we are committed to being a Center for Excellence in Psychiatry, where the treatment of patients and patient care is the utmost priority, and the care provided rivals that of the top academic institutions.  Thus, we retain only the most highly educated, personable, compassionate and dedicated psychiatrists that are committed to helping patients move forward in their lives.

Dr. Britton Ashley Arey, MD, MBA, the founder and CEO of South Coast Psychiatry, is a UCLA and Cedars Sinai trained psychiatrist specializing in psychotherapy and medication management for adults.

Dr. Sarah Graff, MD, is a UCSF and Harvard trained psychiatrist with extensive experience in psychotherapy and medication management.

Dr. Sayeh Beheshti, MD is a UCI trained psychiatrist and psychotherapist, specializing in General Adult Psychiatry, with expertise in medication management as well as therapy.

As medical doctors trained in psychiatry, our psychiatrists can work with you to identify the biological and psychosocial treatments that can help your particular situation. Our doctors are trained in the latest medication and psychotherapeutic techniques to help you achieve your goals.

Dr. Arey, Dr. Graff and Dr. Beheshti are all highly trained medical doctors who are unique among other psychiatrists in that all three have organizational and business experience and expertise. Our psychiatrists can also understand and coach executives in organizational dynamics, management skills and leadership issues. Thus, at South Coast Psychiatry, we can help you transcend your therapy to identify dynamics and implement changes that can help you succeed both personally and professionally.
